BRAD ARMACOST (Ebenezer Scrooge) is delighted to return once again to Drury Lane Oakbrook’s annual production of A Christmas Carol, having performed as Ebenezer Scrooge for over a decade. He appeared on this stage earlier this year in the Midwest premiere of The DaVinci Code and has appeared at many Chicagoland theatres including the Tony Award- winning Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Northlight and Steppenwolf Theatres, receiving recognition for his work with multiple Joseph Jefferson Awards. He toured the country with the UK production of Woman In Black. Television credits include Chicago Fire, Emperor of Ocean Park, The Exorcist, Empire, Mind Games, Missing Persons, Untouchables and Early Edition. Film credits include Night Sky, Patriot, Warren, The Company, Barbershop 2, Repetition, and Eight Men Out. He has made numerous appearances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as part of the Beyond The Score series.
SARAH CHALCROFT (Ghost of Christmas Past/Mrs. Cratchit) is delighted to be reprising these roles in A Christmas Carol at Drury Lane. Previously for Drury Lane she has appeared in The Audience. RAINS (Mr. Fezziwig/Man About Town, U/S Scrooge) returns to The Drury Lane, having previously portrayed Harold Wilson in THE AUDIENCE, Johnny Cash in RING OF FIRE, Mr. Mushnik in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Jackie Elliot in BILLY ELLIOT, and ensemble roles in BIG THE MUSICAL and 1776. He works at most of the larger theaters in the Chicago area, notably portraying Bob Cratchit in The Goodman Theatre’s production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL for 11 seasons.
