SCOTT WEINSTEIN (Director) is a Multi-Jeff award-winning Director and Writer based in New York City. He’s thrilled to return to Drury Lane Theatre where he previously directed Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Rock of Ages, Ring of Fire, and James and The Giant Peach. Favorite credits include Something Rotten (Marriott Theatre), Titanic and Ragtime (Griffin Theatre – Jeff Award); Into The Woods (Pittsburgh CLO), Rent (Theo Ubique – Jeff Award), South Pacific (The Rev Theatre), The North American Premiere of David Greig’s Solaris (Griffin Theatre), World Premieres of Kooman and Dimond’s The Break (Constellation Stage) and The Enlightenment of Percival Von Schmaltz (Adirondack Theatre Festival). Scott was the Associate and Resident Director for the Broadway National Tour, Las Vegas and Chicago productions of the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet. He developed and directed the world premiere national tour of Million Dollar Quartet Christmas, which toured for three years, produced by Gigi Pritzker’s Madison Wells Media. CHUCK MEAD (Music Direction) is best known as a founding member of the three time Grammy nominated, CMA Award winning 90’s country group BR5-49. He has also released four critically acclaimed solo albums, appeared on the Grand Ole Opry over 180 times, produced numerous records including an all-star tribute to Johnny Cash, and written hundreds of songs. He was part of the original creative team acting as Music Director/ Supervisor for the Chicago, Broadway, West End, Las Vegas, and National Tour productions of the Tony Award winning show “Million Dollar Quartet.” He was the Music Supervisor/Producer for the CMT television series “Sun Records” as well as the Music Supervisor/Producer for the acclaimed film “Neon Highway” in which he also made his acting debut.
E. FAYE BUTLER (Director) Excited to return to Drury Lane last seen in Chicago! as Mama Morton for which she received the Jeff Award. Supporting Actress Musical. Her career spans over 40 years performing and directing both musicals and plays nationally, internationally. After years of standing in front of the footlights she now enjoys passing forward all the pearls of wisdom given to her during her fruitful acting career. EMILY N. BRINK (Costume Design) grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. She prioritizes implementing color and symbolism in her work, reflecting her literary background in every design choice she makes. Emily holds an MFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Costume Design & Production as well as a BA from the University of Iowa in both Theatre (Costume Design/Playwriting) and English (Creative Writing.) Emily has lived in nine different states while pursuing her career, but she currently lives outside of Chicago. She works as a costume designer, assistant costume designer, and a costume crafts artisan/ager distresser for theatre, opera, and film. Emily has also spent time teaching as an adjunct professor in her field. Other companies of note that she has worked with include Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Court Theatre, Timeline Theatre Company, DePaul University Theatre School, Refracted Theatre Company, Wagon Wheel Center for the Performing Arts, The Minneapolis Children’s Theatre Company, Hangar Theatre Company, and more. Emily is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and singer, serving as the drummer in two local rock bands, Odd Man Out (@oddmanoutchicago) and The Double Ts (@thedoubletsband)

LELAND PLUMRIDGE (Sound Design) is excited to be making his Drury Lane debut and to reunite with Scott Weinstein and Chuck Mead. Leland is an accomplished sound designer and the founder of Sonolux Creative.With a keen ear and a passion for immersive audio experiences, Leland has recently lent his expertise to Million Dollar Quartet and Bring Back The 90s for Norwegian Cruise Line, as well as The Color Purple with Stageworks Theatre. His dynamic career includes collaborations with Grammy-winning legends such as Kurt Elling, Herbie Hancock, Angélique Kidjo, and Ron Carter. Leland extends heartfelt thanks to his wife, Cassie, and their two dogs, Jolene and Merle, for their love, tail wags, and support.

MATTEA MUNECH (Associate Director) is an artist, scholar and educator who recently received her BA from Northwestern University. Mattea’s experience includes working as the Education and Engagement Director of NU’s Imagine U program, the Equity Administrator of WAVE
Productions, and as an undergraduate researcher on representation and accessibility in theater for young audiences. Notable credits include serving as the assistant director of Drury Lane’s The Little Mermaid and as the dramaturg for Sketchbook Theatre’s Romeo and Juliet, Chicago Dramatists 10-Minute Play Festival, and NU’s production of Spring Awakening.

ANDREA ENGER (Assistant Stage Manager) is a Chicago-based stage manager thrilled to be joining Drury Lane as an assistant stage manager. Previously, they’ve worked on productions such as The Little Mermaid, A Christmas Carol, and Beautiful in various capacities. Some of their favorite credits include Anything Goes, Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, Rent, and Spring Awakening at Porchlight Music Theatre; The Prodigal Daughter at Raven Theatre; Southern Gothic at Windy City Playhouse; and This Bitter Earth at About Face Theatre. Andrea holds a BA in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. Outside of the theatre, they enjoy baking, gardening, and spending time with their dog, Chili.
