ELIZABETH MARGOLIUS (Director) Jeff Award winning stage and movement director, Elizabeth Margolius, most recently won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Director of a Musical for Shattered Globe’s London Road, and she is excited to be making her debut at Drury Lane. A five-time Jeff Award nominee, Elizabeth’s selected directorial credits include work with American Stage, Opera Southwest, Peninsula Players, Renaissance Theaterworks, Firebrand Theatre, Chicago Opera Theater, Underscore Theatre, Chicago Folks Operetta, American Theater Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Assistant Director), City Lit Theater, and Bohemian Theatre Ensemble. Elizabeth is a proud member of the American Guild of Musical Artists and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

ROMMY SANDHU (Choreographer) is thrilled to collaborate on this exciting production at the Drury Lane Theatre. New York City based Director-Choreographer and educator, Sandhu’s imaginative work and insight have been sought after from coast to coast and across the pond. In addition to creating unique events for Walmart and Spectrum, he has staged work for Laura Michelle Kelly, Sherie Rene Scott, Norbert Leo Butz, and Ann Harada. Selected regional credits include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Maltz-Jupiter Theatre), Mary Poppins, Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Sister Act (Tuacahn),Mamma Mia (New London Barn Playhouse) and Singing In The Rain starring Corbin Bleu (The MUNY). Associate Director/Choreographer to Kathleen Marshall on The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Diner, to Dick Scanlan on Little Shop of Horrors starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ellen Greene and Taran Killam. Rommy is currently on Faculty at Marymount Manhattan College as well as Visiting Lecturer to Manhattan School of Music, Syracuse University and University of Michigan. CHRIS SARGENT (Music Director, Conductor) is thrilled to be involved in bringing this important story to life on the Drury Lane stage. He has been an active member of the Chicago jazz and theater scenes for almost 20 years. Most recently he conducted Beautiful at the Marriott Lincolnshire, and Grease and A Chorus Line at Drury Lane Theatre. Other credits include The Book of Mormon (2nd National Tour), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (National Tour), and Mamma Mia! (2nd National Tour).

JACK MAGAW (Scenic Design) to Drury Lane having previously designed scenery for Funny Girl. Recent Chicago and regional credits include the US premiere of London Road (Shattered Globe Theatre), the world premiere of Relentless (TimeLine Theatre and Goodman Theatre), Nina Simone: Four Women(South Coast Rep), Tick Tick Boom (Bucks County Playhouse), the world premiere of How to Break (Village Theatre), Two Trains Running (Court Theatre), The Agitators (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Indecent (Arena Stage, Kansas City Rep and Baltimore Centerstage), Legacy Land and Frankenstein (Kansas City Rep), The Scarlet Ibis (Chicago Opera Theatre), Dames at Sea, Talley’s Folly and I and You (Peninsula Players Theatre). Upcoming projects include the scenic design for Porgy and Bess (Music Theatre Heritage). LINDA ROETHKE (Costume Design) is a Director of Graduate Studies in the M.F.A. Design Program at Northwestern University, where she is a Professor of Costume Design.  Most recently Linda designed Fever Dreams for the Contemporary American Theatre Festival, and Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.   Her artwork has been recently exhibited in Heads Up at Palette and Chisel, Chicago and her costume designs were exhibited as part of the international exhibit Costume Design at the Turn of the Century which began in Moscow.  Her awards include a Jeff Award (An Ideal Husband at Court Theatre), a Suzi Bass Nomination (The Geller Girls and The Underpants at Alliance Theatre), and a Connecticut Circle Nomination (A Little Night Music at Connecticut Rep). She received her MFA from the University of Iowa. Linda has designed for the Arena Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, McCarter Center, Alliance Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Public Theatre, Kansas City Rep, Cincinnati Playhouse, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Paramount Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, Center Stage, Maltz Jupiter Theatre,  American Players Theatre,  Court Theatre, Northlight Theatre and The Goodman Theatre. Favorite Regional Credits Include:  Into the Woods, and  Richard II (Oregon Shakespeare Festival), Sunday in the Park with George and Sweeney Todd (Kansas City Rep),  Richard III (The Public), Indecent (The Arena Theatre and Baltimore Center Stage)  Orlando (Court Theatre), I Never Sang for My Father and  Motherf**ker with the Hat,(Steppenwolf), and How I Learned to Drive (Northlight Theatre and The Alliance Theatre).

JASON LYNCH (Lighting Design) is a Chicago-based lighting designer for live performance and makes his Drury Lane debut with this production. Regional: Alley Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Court Theatre, Geva Theatre Center, Goodman Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, Long Wharf Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, among others. He was also the recipient of the 2022 Equity Jeff Award for his work on Choir Boy at Steppenwolf and the 2019 Michael Maggio Emerging Designer Award, which recognizes emerging theatrical designers within the Chicago area. MIKE TUTAJ (Projection Design) (he/him) returns to Drury having designed projections for many productions over the years including The Gin Game, Xanadu, Sunset Boulevard, Sweeney Todd and more. Based in Chicago, Mike has designed countless shows in the area, regionally and internationally—but you are his favorite audience. CASSY SCHILLO (Props Design Supervisor and Warehouse Manager) is thrilled to be with the Drury Lane family and honored to be a recipient of the 2019 Jeff award in Artistic Specialization for Properties design.  Drury Lane credits include A Chorus Line, Elf the Musical, Murder on the Orient Express, Steel Magnolias, R&H The King and I, Evita, Holiday Inn, Forever Plaid, An American in Paris, Mary Poppins, The Color Purple, And Then There Were None, Matilda, Mamma Mia!, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, South Pacific, Joseph…, 42nd Street, Rock of Ages, The Gin Game, Chicago, Saturday Night Fever, Crazy for You, & Smokey Joe’s Cafe.  Jeff Nominated for DL’s Deathtrap as well as First Folio’s Salvage and All Childish Things. DAREN LEONARD (Associate  Director) This marks Daren’s first production with Drury Lane and tenth collaboration with Elizabeth Margolius. He spent eight years as the Associate Artistic Director for Directors Lab Chicago and Six years as the Artistic Director for Heathworks Theatre, an educational theatre company committed to working with teens to address critical health and social issues. Daren has worked with Shattered Globe, Firebrand Theatre, Circle Theatre, Bailiwick Chicago, Not Waiting Productions, Folks Operetta, Genesis Theatrical Productions, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, Ozark Actors Theatre and The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. He is a proud graduate of Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts directing program and the French Pastry School

JOHN MICHAEL COPPOLA (Associate Choreographer) Mr. Coppola appeared in the Chicago and Las Vegas companies of the Tony Award winning musical, Jersey Boys, where he was the production’s dance captain (Chicago). He’s appeared at many of the top regional theatres in the US, including: the Duke Theatre, the Promenade Theatre, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Goodspeed, Stages St. Louis, Ravinia, and the Marriott Theatre. As of 2013, he has been pursuing producing, directing and choreography projects, most notably THE FOUR C NOTES: Recreating the Music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, which he created in 2013. LARRY BAKER (Production Stage Manager) In college, Miracle Of Miracles was my audition song. Other favorite memories include: She Loves Me at the Melody Top in Milwaukee, Bermuda Avenue Triangle with Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna, Heartstrings with Joel Grey, Commitment To Life with Bette Midler and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee directed by James Lapine. This one is for my dad who took me to see the Fiddler movie in 1971. Sunrise Sunset.

CASIE MORELL (Assistant Stage Manager) (she/her) is excited to return to Drury Lane! Most recently she has worked at Peninsula Players Theater, the Marriott Theater, and Lookingglass Theater. A proud Nashville native, Casie has also worked with Timeline Theater, the Mercury Theater, 16th Street, the Chicago Children’s Theatre, First Folio, Theatre at the Center, Porchlight, Music Theatre Works, and with the Northwestern Opera. She has also worked regionally at the Clarence Brown Theatre in Knoxville, TN, The Weidner Center in Green Bay WI, and Third Ave Playworks in Sturgeon Bay.
