Paul Stancato (Director and Choreographer) is thrilled to be making his Drury Lane and Chicago debut with Forever Plaid! Originally from Chicago, Paul has spent the last 20 years living in New York City as a theater artist. Credits include: Broadway: The Wedding Singer. National Tours: The Wedding Singer, Jekyll & Hyde, Flashdance, and The Lion King. International: The House of Dancing Water, Macau; Alice in Wonderland, Turks and Caicos. New York: Off-Broadway: Friends, the Unofficial Parody Musical; The Cobalteans; Powerhouse; ICON; and Einstein’s Dreams. Select regional credits: 5th Avenue, John Engeman Theater, Palm Beach DramaWorks, Flatrock Playhouse, Seven Angels, and Timber Lake Playhouse. Performance credits include: Blue Man Group (Blue Man) and De LaGuarda (original New York cast member/Captain). Awards/ Fellowships: Mike Okrent Fellow (nominee), Society of Directors Observer Fellow, University of Florida Outstanding Alumnus Award, Drama League member, and a Lincoln Center Director’s Lab member. Paul is currently the Artistic Director of Timber Lake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll, IL. He wishes to thank Kyle and Drew DeSantis, Matt Carney, Wendy Prey, and the whole Drury Lane team for this opportunity.
Valerie Maze (Music Director) is excited to return to Drury Lane. Her past Drury Lane productions include Forever Plaid, White Christmas, and Seussical. At Lyric Opera of Chicago, in addition to serving as Assistant Conductor and Dance Pianist for several operas, she has also served as Assistant Conductor on My Fair Lady, The King and I, Carousel, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, and Showboat.
Other select Chicago credits include productions with Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Follies and Gypsy), Goodman Theatre (Brigadoon), Writer’s Theatre (A Little Night Music, Music Director Jeff Award nomination), Theatre at the Center (Cats, After Dark Award), Music Theater Works, Provision Theater,
Elgin Opera, and DuPage Opera. Other regional credits include productions with Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Wagon Wheel Theatre, Portland Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Harrisburg Opera Association, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, and California Opera.

Rachel Boylan (Costume Designer) Though no stranger to Drury Lane, Rachel thrilled to be making her design debut with Forever Plaid. Local design credits include: Pippin (Jeff Award nomination), Shear Madness, Avenue Q, I Left My Heart, Mary Poppins (Mercury Theater); Hello Again (Theo Ubique); Leavings (Polarity Ensemble Theater); Hello & Goodbye (Bluebird Arts). Rachel recently earned her MFA from UC CCM where she designed Ariodante, Godspell, and La Clemenza di Tito. When not designing, you can find Rachel working as a design assistant for Steppenwolf, Writers, COT, and here at Drury Lane. LEE FISKNESS (Lighting Designer) has designed a dozen shows at Drury Lane including: The 39 Steps, Holiday Inn, Forever Plaid, An American in Paris. Chicago credits: Steppenwolf, Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Lyric Opera, Marriott Theatre, Court Theatre, Writers Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Lightscape at Chicago Botanical Gardens. Regionally: Kennedy Center, Manhattan Theatre Club, Mark Taper Forum, Cincinnati Playhouse, Emerson Colonial Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Milwaukee Rep. Opera: San Jose, Dallas, Colorado, Portland, Kentucky, Florentine Opera, Lyric Opera. International; The Jurassic World Exhibition (China), Le Nozze di Figaro (Japan), Movement Stories (Abu Dhabi).
