ALEXIS J. ROSTON (Winifred Banks) who was just seen here at Drury in The Color Purple, returns as a Jeff Award winner for her performance as Billie Holiday in ​Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar & Grill​ (Porchlight Music). She recently played Oda Mae Brown in Peninsula Players’ Ghost — her second opportunity to take on a Whoopi Goldberg originated role after playing Deloris Van Cartier in New Theatre’s Sister Act last year. Other credits: ​Hairspray (Drury Lane); Hair (Paramount); Ain’t Misbehavin’, Crowns​ (Goodman); ​Porgy and Bess (​Court); ​Shrek (Chicago Shakespeare); ​and ​Company (Writers). JOE CAPSTICK (Ensemble, u/s Ted) returns to Drury Lane where he has performed in the ensembles of Crazy For You, 42nd Street, South Pacific, and Mary Poppins. Other Chicagoland credits include: the ensembles of The Producers at the Mercury Theater Chicago, Holiday Inn at the Marriott Theatre, and Newsies at the Paramount Theatre. This show is dedicated to his automatic, supersonic, hypnotic, funky fresh baby nephew, Franklin.

HUNTER DIMAILIG (Michael Banks at Certain Performances) is delighted to return to the Drury Lane Stage where he was last seen as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, which he will be reprise again this holiday season. Hunter was also seen in Drury Lane’s South Pacific (Jerome DuBecque). He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and have been acting/modeling since the age of 3. Hunter is a 4th grader at Steeple Run Elementary in Naperville. He takes acting and dancing at STEPS. Special thanks to voice teacher, Nancy Mazurowski. Much love to Mom, Dad, and big brothers Cade and Tanner. 

BRIAN M. DUNCAN (Northbrook, Ensemble, u/s George Banks, Adm. Boom, Bank Chairman) is thrilled to be back at Drury Lane after being seen in Mamma Mia!, Chicago, Saturday Night Fever and Hazel! Other Chicago credits include: Cats, 42nd Street, The Music Man, A Chorus Line, Joseph…Dreamcoat, Big Fish, A Christmas Carol and All Shook Up. Brian is also the jazz and senior competition director at Dance Images, Tap choreographer for Versa5 and on faculty at Columbia College Chicago. Brian Would like to thank Bill, Jane, and Roberta for having him back as well as his parents and friends especially his husband Curtis for all their love and support. Proud member AEA. 

ANNIE JO ERMEL (Annie, Ensemble, Dance Captain) is more than delighted to be spending this jolly holiday tapping her toes at the Drury Lane. She just returned from The Ordway in St Paul, Minnesota, continuing her work as dance captain and Phyllis on the new, re-imagined 42nd Street that premiered at Drury Lane. Other Regional Credits: Matilda, 42nd Street, Rock of Ages, White Christmas (Drury Lane); Holiday Inn, Singin’ in the Rain, Anything Goes (The Marriott); Hairspray (The Paramount); and 42nd Street, Little Mermaid (The Fireside). Annie Jo is an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College, choreographer at various Chicagoland high schools, and teacher at the Lincolnshire Academy of Dance. IRIS LIEBERMAN (Miss Lark, Miss Smythe, Queen Victoria, Ensemble, u/s Bird Woman, Mrs. Brill) returns to Drury Lane Oakbrook for her 23rd production.  She was last seen here in Billy Elliot the Musical directed by Rachel Rockwell.  Iris recently appeared in Pippin (Berthe) with Venus Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts) with Fireside Theatre, Cabaret (Fraulien Schneider – Jeff nomination) with Theatre at the Center, Billy Elliot, the Musical (Grandma) with Porchlight Music Theatre, Elegy (Hilde) with Richard Christensen Theatre, and Fiddler on the Roof (Golde) with Paramount Theatre.  Iris is a Jeff Award winner and four-time nominee.  She is a board member of Perennial Theatre Chicago, a newly formed company featuring “actors with lifetimes of experience to share”. 

AMANDA COMPTON LOPRESTI (Ensemble, u/s Mary Poppins) is thrilled to return to Drury Lane where she has worked on stage (Bye Bye Birdie, Young Frankenstein) and off stage as Assistant Music Director (Crazy For You, Mamma Mia! and Matilda) and Assistant Director/Assistant Choreographer (42nd Street).  She recently played Mary Poppins with Utah Festival Opera, was featured in Francesca Zambello’s Candide at LA Opera with Kelsey Grammer and Christine Ebersole, and toured with Candide in Toulouse and Bordeaux.  Chicago credits: Mercury Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Chicago Symphony Chorus (Soprano I section leader).  Regional: The Glimmerglass Festival, Hawaii Opera Theatre. www.AmandaLCompton.com

Jenny holds a B.A. in Theatre & Drama from Indiana University Bloomington, where she was a member and Varsity Choreographer of the Grammy-nominated Singing Hoosiers. SEBASTIAN MERLO (Michael Banks at Certain Performances) is in 5th grade at St. Paul Lutheran and is absolutely thrilled to be making his Drury Lane debut.  He has been involved in many musical theater productions and has played the violin since the age of 7.  Favorite credits include The Wizard of Oz (Paramount Theater); Joseph and The Music Man (Premier Theater Company); and Annie (Christian Youth Theater).   Sebastian is grateful for the love and support of his family and friends.  He would like to thank his music teachers and directors as well as Stewart Talent for their encouragement and the incredible opportunities they have given him.

JOHANNA MCKENZIE MILLER (Director) is making her Drury Lane directing debut with Steel Magnolias. Ms. McKenzie Miller most recently directed the 91st Annual Waa-Mu show at Northwestern University A Peculiar Inheritance. Previous directing credits include world premier musical Sherw’d (First Folio Theatre), New Faces Sing Broadway, Now! (Porchlight Music Theatre), Kiss Me Kate (Marriot Theatre), Junie B Jones & Madagascar, A Musical Adventure (Marriot Theatre for Young Audiences) where she will be directing The Wizard of Oz this summer. Armed with a Bachelors of Music from NIU she has appeared onstage at Drury Lane as Elizabeth in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, Hodel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and Katie Nana in MARY POPPINS.

DC credits include: A Funny Thing…Forum (Shakespeare Theatre Company); Verdi’s La Forza del Destino and Puccini’s La Boheme (The Kennedy Center Opera House). Dance credits include Chet Walker’s Walker Dance and Giordano Dance Chicago’s second company. Thomas received his BFA in Dance Performance from Marymount Manhattan College. He would like to thank his friends, family and especially Ben for their ongoing love and support.
 

HARRIET NZINGA PLUMPP (Mrs. Corry, Ensemble) has been performing on stages professionally since she was 7½ years old, starting with singing in the Chicago Children’s Choir. Harriet has collaborated with Harold Prince, Frank Galati, Gary Griffin, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Flaherty, Barbara Gaines, Tom Murray, Charles Newell, George Hearn, Bob Mason, Roberta Duchak, Doug Peck, Matt Deitchman, Charlotte Rivard-Hoster, Diana Basmajian, and Amber Mak at The Goodman Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Court Theater, The Lyric Opera, Ravinia Festival, Paramount Theatre, and Writers Theatre. You might have seen her recently soaring in the air as Glinda in Paramount Theatre’s The Wizard of Oz, listening intently to Matilda as Mrs. Phelps at Drury Lane in Matilda the Musical, and voicing the Giant in Into the Woods at Writers Theatre. I love you Brett, Duncan, Mali, J and A, and Mom and Dad. Harriet is represented by Gray Talent Group. 

MARISA RIEGLE (Ensemble,Fannie) is ecstatic to be back at Drury Lane!  She was previously seen on the Drury stage in 42nd Street. SAWYER SMITH (Robertson Ay, Valentine, Ensemble) is happy to be back at Drury Lane, last seen in Rock of Ages and Hairspray.  Most recently Sawyer was seen on stage at The Steppenwolf Theater in the world premiere of Ms. Blakk For President and was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Rose for their portrayal as Fastrada in Pippin (Mercury Theater). Other Credits: Something Rotten, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and Madagascar (Marriott Theatre); The Producers, CATS, Rent, A Chorus Line (Paramount Theater); The Bardy Bunch, The Producers, and The Addams Family (Mercury Theater). Choreography Credits: The Fly Honey Show (The Inconvenience); Heathers: The Musical (Kokandy Productions); Altar Boyz, The Full Monty (Theo Ubique); and Titanic and Spelling Bee (Griffin Theater). HOLLY STAUDER (Miss Andrew, Ensemble) returns to Drury Lane having last appeared as Patricia Fodor in Crazy for You. Other Drury Lane credits include Hello, Dolly! (Ernestina), Billy Elliot (Lesly), Gypsy (Mrs. Cratchitt), and the ensembles of the Regional Premier of Beaches and the World Premier of Hazel. Most recent Chicago credits include The Christmas Schooner and Mary Poppins (Mercury Theatre), and Madagascar (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre). Holly has performed locally at Ravinia, Marriott Lincolnshire, Paramount, Theatre at the Center, and The Broadway Playhouse, as well as regionally at Broadway Palm, Bigfork Summer Playhouse, and Utah Shakespearean Festival. She earned a BFA in Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University, she is a proud AEA member, and is represented by Stewart Talent. Holly also teaches and coaches acting and private voice. DAVON SUTTLES (Policeman, Ensemble, u/s Bert) is an alumnus of St. Paul Conservatory of Performing Arts and Columbia College Chicago’s Musical Theatre program. Davon has studied, performed, and taught tap dance locally and internationally. He has had the privilege of opening for Ben Vereen with Chicago Tap Theatre, and has showcased his own new works at the Chicago Human Rhythm Project and the 2018 Twin Cities Tap Festival, and is currently the Choreographer-in-Residency with Kean Sense of Rhythm in St. Paul, Minnesota. Performance credits: Shrek the Musical and bare: A Pop Opera (Children’s Theatre Company); 42nd Street (Drury Lane – choreographed by Broadway’s Jared Grimes). Recently, Davon produced his first original production, MELANIZED, a multimedia show about living as a person of color in Minneapolis at the Hennepin Theatre Trust Building.

MARTIN ORTIZ TAPIA (Ensemble, u/s Neleus) has appeared in West Side Story (Juano) with Lyric Opera; Cabaret (Victor) with Paramount; Newsies (Tommy Boy) with Marriott; Saturday Night Fever (Gabriel and Cesar) with Drury Lane; West Side Story (Chino) with Northern Star Theater in Wisconsin; and Godspell (Lamar) with Cumberland ETC Ruppel Family Theater. Ortiz Tapia has toured nationally as a principal dancer with Giordano Dance Chicago. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a B. F. A. in music and dance.  

BRET TUOMI (Adm. Boom, Bank Chairman, Ensemble) is very glad to be back on the Drury Lane stage. He last appeared here in 42nd Street. Other Drury Lane credits include Saturday Night Fever, West Side Story and Billy Elliot. Bret has performed with many companies in the Chicago area including Chicago Shakespeare, The Goodman, Lyric Opera, TimeLine, Theatre at the Center and most recently in Newsies (Pulitzer) at The Paramount He has also appeared on Broadway and the first national tour of Rock of Ages.
