BIOGRAPHY

LARRY YANDO (Hercule Poirot) performed as Scar in the national tour of The Lion King for three years.  Winner of five Joseph Jefferson awards, he was honored as Chicago Magazine’s Best Actor in Chicago, where he makes his home. Larry received DePaul University’s Excellence in the Arts Award and was the recipient of the 2014 Sarah Siddons Award for Chicago’s Leading Man. Also in 2014, Larry was named Wall Street Journal’s Performer of the Year. In 2019, Larry worked with the theatre legend Peter Brook and toured Europe with his production of BATTLEFIELD.  Mr. Yando has taught advanced acting classes at The Theatre School at DePaul University, Northwestern University and Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s Classical Training Program. In 2010, he was one of nine actors chosen to be a Lunt-Fontanne Fellow.

SEAN BLAKE (Monsieur Bouc) Happily returns to DLO where he has been seen in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Color Purple, and Xanadu. He was Dance Captain/Swing on the 1st Broadway National Tour of Hal Prince and Susan Strohman’s Showboat. Sean can be heard on the original cast recording of Hal Prince and Stephen Sondheim’s Bounce. Regionally Sean has performed at The Goodman, The Court Theatre, Seattle Rep, Asolo Rep. Alabama Shakespeare, Pasadena Playhouse, Longwharf Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare, to name a few. He is the recipient of 2 Jeff Nominations, and 2 Black Theatre Alliance nominations. Sean is a member of AEA and SAG. Enjoy the ride.

SARAH LO (Mary Debenham) is thrilled to return to Drury Lane. Chicago credits include In Every Generation (Devorah) at Victory Gardens Theatre, Deck the Hallmark (Courtney, 2021) at The Second City, Mlima’s Tale (Ensemble) at Griffin Theatre, South Pacific (Liat) at Drury Lane, and M. Butterfly (Kurogo dancer) at Court Theatre. Regional credits: Today is my Birthday at Yale Repertory Theatre. TV/Film credits include: The Chair (Netflix), Candyman (Monkeypaw/Universal), Chicago Med (NBC), Utopia (Amazon), Christmas Again (Disney Channel), and Station Eleven (HBOMax). Sarah is a proud graduate of the School at Steppenwolf and the University of Chicago.

JANET ULRICH BROOKS (Helen Hubbard) was last seen at Drury Lane as Ouiser in Steel Magnolias. Other DL credits: Cat On A Hot Tin Roof; Crazy For You. With TimeLine Theatre (Company Member), Janet’s performed in over 15 productions, and received a Joseph Jefferson Award for her role as Maria Callas in Master Class. Other Chicago credits include productions with Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens, Lookingglass, Northlight, Theatre at the Center, About Face.   Regional theatre: Woolly Mammoth, Milwaukee Rep, Kennedy Center, Theatre Squared.  Films include: Divergent, Conviction, One Small Hitch, Fools  T.V.: Work In Progress (Showtime) Fargo (FX), Sense8 (Netflix), Proven Innocent (FoxTV), Boss (STARZ) Chicago Med, Fire & Justice (NBC).  Janet was the first recipient of the Ed See Outstanding Theatre Alumnus Award from University of Central Missouri.  A proud member of AEA & SAG/AFTRA, Janet is represented by Gray Talent Group.

RYAN IMHOFF (Colonel Arbuthnot) is jazzed to make his Drury Lane debut. Regional credits include work with American Players Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Windy City Playhouse, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, New Theatre, B Street Theatre, Human Race Theatre, New Swan, Little Theatre on the Square, Know Theatre and Theatre Out. TV/Film: Chicago PD, Wilt, I Am A Channel. Ryan is also an award winning filmmaker. His directorial debut, Fresh Hell, is now available on major streaming platforms and DVD. LEAH CASEY (U/S Mary, Greta, Countess) is a Chicago-based actress, writer, and dancer with a love for fictional podcasts. Some of her previous credits include Frankenstein with Manual Cinema, For Colored Girls at Court Theatre, and Romeo and Juliet with Teatro Vista. She can also be seen in Leonardo and Sam at the Chicago Children’s Theater with Manual Cinema. When not onstage, she can be found working with the cast of Project STELLAR, a science fiction podcast about a group of crazy kids who have close encounters of the awesome kind.

GRANT LEWIS (U/S Michel/Waiter & MacQueen) is thrilled to join the Drury Lane team for the very first time.  Most recently, Grant was seen in Compass Theatre’s WELLESLEY GIRL. Chicago credits also include productions with Definition Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, and Windy City Playhouse.  He has made TV appearances on CHICAGO MED (NBC) and THE CHI (Showtime), as well as other on-camera appearances in MOVER’S ULTIMATE (feature) and HOW TO L0VE (web-series). Grant’s own project, UP NEXT, a glimpse into Andersonville karaoke culture, is currently in post-production. He is represented by Gray Talent Group.
