LUIS SALGADO (Director/Choreographer) is an award-winning director, choreographer, and educator whose work bridges art and social impact. A recipient of four Helen Hayes Awards, a Drama Desk Award, and several international recognitions, Luis is best known as the Associate Choreographer of In the Heights (Broadway). He has also served as director and choreographer for numerous U.S. and international productions of In the Heights and On Your Feet!, including his work as producer, director, and choreographer of the Second National Tour. Luis has directed and choreographed acclaimed new works such as Aguardiente, Song of Solomon, Candela: Fuerza y Pasión, and Barba: El Musical. Moving fluidly between revivals and new creations, he has re-imagined classics like Ragtime, Aida, Beautiful, Matilda, and more, always infusing them with authenticity and heart. As the founder of R.Evolución Latina and Artistic Director of Salgado Productions, Luis empowers artists to create with purpose and representation, mentoring hundreds of performers across the Americas. His artistry celebrates Latin rhythms, storytelling, and community—blending Broadway excellence with a deep commitment to education, cultural identity, and the transformative power of art.
ADAM IMMERWAHR (Director) Drury Lane debut! Adam is the Artistic Director of Village Theatre, in Washington. He previously served as Artistic Director of Theater J, Associate Artistic Director of McCarter Theatre, and Resident Director of Passage Theatre. He has produced new works by Edward Albee, Christopher Durang, Danai Gurira, Fiasco Theater, Will Power, Tarell Alvin McCraney, Ken Ludwig, and many others. Adam’s direction has been from Aspen to Zimbabwe, including at: The Public and Theater Row (both for Summer Play Festival), Walnut Street Theatre, Wolly Mammoth, McCarter, Cleveland Play House, Lyric Theater of Oklahoma, and many others.
CHRISTOPHER SARGENT (Music Director) Chris is thrilled to be the Music Director for “On Your Feet!”, having previously directed the music for “Fiddler On The Roof”, “Elf”, “An American In Paris”, and “Beauty and The Beast” at Drury Lane Theatre. Over the past 20 years, he has conducted over two dozen productions at Drury Lane and surrounding theaters. Other credits include “The Book of Mormon” (2nd National Tour), “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” (National Tour), and “Mamma Mia!” (2nd National Tour).
E. FAYE BUTLER (Director) Excited to return to Drury Lane last seen in Chicago! as Mama Morton for which she received the Jeff Award. Supporting Actress Musical. Her career spans over 40 years performing and directing both musicals and plays nationally, internationally. After years of standing in front of the footlights she now enjoys passing forward all the pearls of wisdom given to her during her fruitful acting career. DANIEL GUTIERREZ (Music Consultant) is a Colombian composer, pianist, arranger, and musical director whose work spans musical theater, Latin jazz, salsa, and contemporary Latin American music. Based between New York City and Colombia, he is known for bridging traditional Latin aesthetics with modern theatrical and orchestral approaches. Recent credits include Musical Director for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Revista ¡HOLA! in New York, Musical Director for the Off-Broadway production Facings, and Orchestrator for the upcoming 2026 production of 1776 at Ford’s Theatre. CHRISTOPHER VERGARA (Costume Design) is a queer Latino freelance costume designer, educator, and social activist. His design work spans theatre, musicals, opera, dance, and live events and is rooted in culturally responsive design, storytelling, education, and social justice. Christopher grew up learning to sew by peering over Nana’s shoulder as she worked on an old but mighty Singer. After graduating, he completed The Professional Internship Program of The Juilliard School in costumes. Christopher has worked in various venues in New York City, from La Mama Experimental Theater to the Public Theater’s New York Shakespeare Festival in Central Park to Broadway. His Broadway associate credits include Free Man of Color (Lincoln Center Theater), The Visit (Lyceum), People in the Picture (Roundabout), Eclipsed* (Golden) *Tony Award for Best Costumes for a Play) The Color Purple (Jacobs), Once on this Island (Circle in the Square), and The Kite Runner (Hayes). Off-Broadway credits include MCC Theater, p73, EnGarde Arts, and The York Theatre.
